Your Select subscription includes the full CXProMusic Select catalog together with CXProMusic business playback rights for the venues and players covered by your plan. There is no separate CXProMusic music-licensing fee.
Music played from other sources is not covered by your subscription, and anything your premises needs that is unrelated to CXProMusic music stays with you, as it would with any provider.

Will this work with my existing sound system?
Yes. The Player runs in a browser on a tablet, phone or computer and plays through whatever that device is connected to: the headphone or line output into your amplifier, Bluetooth to your speakers, or the device's own speakers. Nothing to install.
What happens if the internet drops?
The Player keeps a stretch of music ready ahead of time, so short interruptions pass unheard, and it reconnects on its own. A long outage stops playback until the connection is back; the Player needs an internet connection to run.
Can different rooms play different music at the same time?
Yes. Each zone plays its own music on its own device, and a manager can control every zone from a phone. Pro includes six zones across three venues; Business ten across five.
Can staff control the music without touching billing or settings?
Yes. Team members can run the Player and the remote control; billing and organization settings stay with the account owner. On Business, members can be scoped to a single venue with their own permissions.
How much music is there, and will we hear the same songs all day?
Every atmosphere holds a set of tracks made for that room, playlists draw from across the catalog, and the catalog keeps growing with new music added regularly. The scheduler switches atmospheres through the day, so morning, service and evening never sound the same.
What about Spotify or YouTube?
Consumer music services such as Spotify and YouTube are licensed for personal, non-commercial use and are not designed to be used as a business music service. CXProMusic Select is specifically licensed for playback in the venues and on the players covered by your subscription.
What counts as a simultaneous player?
A device that is playing music right now. A phone or laptop used only to control a zone never counts. When every player slot is in use, the next device is told which ones are playing and can stop one or upgrade.
